Frage zu File:PortMathurin.JPG

Hallo Guandalug!

Mir ist im Village Pump ein Abschnitt vom 04.März aufgefallen, bei dem es um {{U|Schoci]] geht: Commons:Village_pump#Name_pushing_by_Schoci. Ich habe daraufhin etliche Dateien unter Berufung auf Commons:Watermarks verschoben und bin dabei auch auf "PortMathurin" gestoßen. Auf der Diskseite wurde ein Deletion Request verlinkt - offensichtlich scheint Schoci per OTRS eine Löschung einer höher aufgelösten Version - vermutlich ohne Wasserzeichen! - erreicht zu haben (vgl. Versionsgeschichte). Frage: Durch welche Policy ist das gedeckt und könnte es vertretbar wieder rückgängig gemacht werden? Der Nutzer scheint als Hauptabsicht zu haben, Commons als Werbeplattform für seine Homepage zu gebrauchen (vgl. Diskussion im Village Pump). Grüße, Grand-Duc (talk) 09:35, 5 March 2011 (UTC)

Die (vermutlichen) Gründe seitens des Benutzers mal ausgeklammert: Da gibt es keine mit bekannte Policy, das Ticket sieht auch eher nach "Goodwill" aus (also "Service am Kunden"). Aus naheliegenden Gründen kann ich den (länglichen) Mailaustausch hier nicht wiedergeben. Die 5 über das Ticket abgedeckten Bilder sollten allerdings ohne Wasserzeichen sein - da hängen 5 'kleinere' (aber für die Wikipedia nutzbare) Bilder ohne Wasserzeichen am Ticket.

Die Löschung an sich würde ich nicht rückgängig machen wollen - ich werde aber gleich mal die vom Nutzer zur Verfügung gestellten, NICHT mit Wasserzeichen verunstalteten Bilder "drüberladen". --Guandalug 09:54, 5 March 2011 (UTC)

Ah, brauch ich gar nicht. Schau mal bei File:PortMathurin.JPG in der Versionsgeschichte nach der Version vom 26. Juni 2010 (das passt auch zum Ticket) Uploader "Blurpeace". Das ist zwar kleiner, aber ohne Watermark (und entspricht dem Bild aus dem Ticket). --Guandalug 09:57, 5 March 2011 (UTC)
